This is a fantastic book and not only well written and emotionally challenging but creates an awe inspiring picture of two men who are shining examples of what it means to be both top officers and compassionate human beings. I wish I was half the man these two young men were starting to become. The book will be a excellent addition to anyone’s library.

I was truly awed by the stories of the two men and all they accomplished in their far too short lives. They both were described as having incredible work ethics and morals as well as incredible drive to succeed as Military officers. They were credits to the traditions of the U.S. military and both officers I would have followed just about anywhere. The beginnings of the Travis Manion Foundation are also covered in the book, which seems to be a wonderful legacy of two young men who were gone far too young.
